Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra's family seeks further information about her passing.

Martha Nolan-O’slatarra’s family is seeking clarity about who was present with her on the night she was discovered dead on a boat in Montauk.

Attorney Arthur Adara pushed back against theories suggesting that the 33-year-old may have died from an overdose, noting that the family “doesn’t think she was a drug user.”

“They want more information,” Adara stated. “This situation is anything but ordinary.”

“They want to find out who was with Martha that night,” he continued.

“We know of one individual who was there at the time. Were there others?”

During a press conference, lawyers mentioned that East End murder detectives are still actively pursuing leads.

“The family met with a Suffolk County murder detective, and they are conducting thorough investigations. People are being questioned,” he told reporters on Wednesday.

“The accuracy surrounding her ‘death’ is quite questionable,” he added.

Adara expressed concerns about potential drug involvement, stating, “If drugs were involved, they want to know who was using them.” He also voiced worries that her family could have been misled about the circumstances of her passing.

Currently, the family is collaborating with law enforcement and retired officers to ensure the investigation is conducted thoroughly.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, Nolan Oslatala was found unresponsive on a boat named Ripple, docked at the Ritzie Montauk Yacht Club on August 5th.

The boat belonged to Chris Durnan, a local figure who has another boat, known as “Bucket of Hell,” also in the same dock.

Durnan runs an insurance company called Durnan Group, located in Rockville Center, but he has not commented on the situation despite multiple inquiries.
