Taylor Swift’s Exciting Moments with the Chiefs

Taylor Swift shared a lively memory of running through her home, shouting in excitement after the Chiefs made a notable trade involving Wide Out Xavier during the 2024 draft with rival Buffalo.

In a much-anticipated episode of Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast, Swift, teased as a “special guest,” reflected on her newfound passion for soccer, largely inspired by her boyfriend, the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce. “Last year was really when I got into it, thanks to him,” she said, smiling. “I mean, before, I had no clue about what a first down or a tight end even was!”

She playfully recounted, “I became like someone who ran through the halls of my house screaming,” attributing her excitement to her friend’s playful question about who had inspired such enthusiasm.

Swift also announced her upcoming album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, set to release on October 3. She expressed admiration for NFL players and the immense pressure they handle. “I’m definitely more into sports now, especially because of Travis. I get competitive on his behalf,” she admitted.

She continued, “I love this new world he’s introduced me to. It’s been such a fun adventure, but wow, the pressure these athletes face is something else. I really respect everyone on his team.”

Swift had met Xavier Worthy after the Chiefs’ thrilling 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game in January. Video captured her joyous reaction while celebrating the victory with Kelce.

Worthy shared that meeting Swift was a memorable experience, especially when she asked him about being drafted by the Chiefs. The “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by Travis and his brother, Eagles legend Jason Kelce, created a stir online during its episode on Wednesday night.

However, about an hour and 44 minutes into the broadcast, a glitch caused it to go dark, leaving over a million viewers confused. Somehow, social media helped clarify the situation. Thankfully, the podcast later confirmed that YouTube resolved the issue.

During the discussion, Swift cheekily mentioned that she felt like she was hogging too much screen time during Chiefs games. On the topic of her relationship with Kelce, he previously denied any suggestions of seeking attention through public appearances, citing their outings, including a cameo at the Stanley Cup final in June.

Following a disappointing Super Bowl loss to the Eagles in February, both Kelce and Swift kept a relatively low profile this offseason.

Currently, the Chiefs drafted Xavier in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Swift mentioned spending time with Kelce not long after as he prepared in Florida, where he reportedly moved into a $20 million mansion at the exclusive Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club.
