Trump responds to Hillary Clinton's statement about nominating him for a Nobel Peace Prize if he assists in ending the Ukraine war.

On Friday, President Trump commented on Hillary Clinton, his former rival, saying she was “very wonderful.” He mentioned that if he could resolve the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine without conceding any territory, Kiev would consider nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Well, um, that was… so good,” Trump said, pausing briefly before speaking with Bret Baier on Fox News’ “Special Report.”

“I might have to like her again,” he added, referencing Clinton, a former Secretary of State and two-time presidential candidate, while heading to Air Force 1 for a crucial meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

This unexpected offer from Clinton came during a recent episode of the “Raging Moderate” podcast, released on Friday, where she suggested nominating Trump for a significant award if peace between Russia and Ukraine could be achieved.

Trump’s confidence seems unwavering: he believes there’s a chance to end what is considered Europe’s bloodiest conflict since World War II. “If he can cease this awful war without forcing Ukraine to concede territory to invaders, then maybe he can really confront Putin. It’s a unique possibility,” he remarked.

He remains optimistic that despite the difficulties, the odds of failure in this endeavor are only 25%. Trump has already received nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize from Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his attempts at a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

Moreover, governments from Pakistan and Cambodia have also nominated him due to his role in resolving tensions between India and Thailand. His efforts in negotiating a peace framework between Azerbaijan and Armenia have garnered support from both nations for awarding him the prize.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee is set to announce the Peace Prize winners on October 10th.
