Actress Isabela Feller has accused Justin Baldoni of “harassing” her amidst ongoing legal issues related to Blake Lively. Feller’s lawyer, who represented her in the film as a younger version of Lively’s character Lily Bloom, responded to Baldoni’s subpoena by stating that she hadn’t answered his request, as reported by a media outlet.
The response emphasized that Baldoni’s actions were for “inappropriate purposes” and amounted to harassment. Feller’s legal team argued that Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios failed to honor her contract, which stipulated that her legal fees would be covered when she was summoned in February regarding a harassment case involving a “Gossip Girl” alum.
Furthermore, her representatives contended that Wayfarer Studios had only agreed to cover her costs if they could control the narrative surrounding her responses.
“Baldoni did not make any serious attempt to modify the subpoena to procure different or new materials. The true intention behind his subpoena is to harass Ms. Feller,” stated the legal rebuttal.
Feller remains involved due to ongoing discussions about the harassment case tied to the “Gossip Girl” incident. She played a key role in “It Ends With Us,” connecting her and Lively during promotional events for the film.
Additionally, Baldoni’s subpoena and related actions were labeled as a blatant effort to pressure Feller.
Her lawyers are seeking sanctions against Baldoni for his claims, asserting that they are without merit. Responses from both Feller’s and Baldoni’s teams were not immediately available following a recent extensive request for comments.
Meanwhile, Blake Lively is pursuing legal action against Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment that took place during the filming of “It Ends With Us.” She has also named his spokesperson in the lawsuit, claiming they orchestrated a smear campaign against her after she rejected certain claims last month.
Baldoni has denied all allegations and has faced criticism from Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, regarding past accusations. However, a judge dismissed Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit in June.
