Delaware Democrats Criticize Trump on Democracy
Delaware Democrats, who identify as transgender women, have accused President Donald Trump of undermining “American democracy.” One of the lawmakers stated, “This president is emulating his favorite dictator. A president who has support for their policies shouldn’t need to resort to illegal tactics such as gerrymandering, manipulating voting machines, or disregarding votes altogether,” during a statement on Monday night via social media. “What we’re witnessing is a direct assault not just on free elections, but on democracy itself.”
Early Tuesday morning, Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comments on the matter.

In other news, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders in Washington, D.C. on Monday, following a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
During an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Trump remarked on the foreign leader meetings, stating, “You can’t expect someone like Vladimir Putin to be straightforward… we shouldn’t allow mail-in voting.”
Trump’s Push Against Mail-In Voting
On Monday, Trump announced plans to eliminate mail-in voting and voting machines, asserting, “We’re initiating steps to secure the integrity of the upcoming 2026 midterm elections through an executive order.” He made these statements as part of a lengthy post on social media.
Trump asserted, “Elections are never trustworthy with mail-in ballots, and everyone, especially Democrats, recognizes this. Republicans and I will fight vigorously to restore integrity to our elections,” he concluded in the post.
