Close Call for Food Influencers as SUV Crashes into Restaurant

In a startling video, two food influencers narrowly escape disaster when an SUV crashes into a restaurant, just missing them.

Nina Santiago, known for her YouTube channel Nina Unrated, which boasts nearly 400,000 subscribers, was dining with her boyfriend, Patrick Blackwood, at a restaurant in Houston, Texas when the vehicle barreled into the building.

The viral footage shows the SUV crashing through the restaurant while Santiago and Blackwood are in the middle of enjoying slider sandwiches. The impact jolts the table, sending Santiago to the ground.

As the glass shatters around them, it’s quite a scene.

The exact reason for the crash at Cube Culinary Creations in West Houston remains unclear.

“Tomorrow is not promised,” Santiago reflected on social media, hinting at her upload about the incident.

She also shared on Instagram images of her injuries, displaying cuts on her face and arm.

“I’m grateful to be alive after an SUV smashed through a glass wall at Cube’s culinary production in Houston,” she posted.

“It struck us directly. I was on his left, and he was on my right, just enjoying my tasty salmon slider. Out of nowhere, we survived.”

This event made her realize the value of life. “It’s too short for anger and grudges. We need to let go, forgive, and cherish those around us. This might have been our last meal,” she added.

She went on to thank the universe and mentioned her late pets for, perhaps, keeping them safe.

Fans quickly rallied around the couple, offering their prayers and support.

“So glad you both are okay! Truly blessed,” one person commented.

Another suggested, “You should consider hiring a good lawyer; this case is significant.”

Reportedly, the driver was en route to the restaurant for a private event when the incident occurred, as stated by the owner.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the crash.
