Brooke Hogan Discusses Father’s Death
Brooke Hogan, daughter of the late WWE legend Hulk Hogan, believes there might be crucial details that could alter the narrative surrounding his unexpected passing last month.
In a series of Instagram posts shared recently, she revealed what she knows about the events leading up to her father’s death. She mentioned that there are 911 calls and body cam footage that could provide “sufficient light to change the story,” emphasizing the need for this footage from the day he died.
“Here’s everything I know. Please stop guessing and asking. I’ve also informed my brother, Nick,” Brooke, 37, stated in her initial post.
She explained that she received a completely legitimate call from experts—police officers and nurses who were with her father on that day—expressing the need to review the body cam footage.
“These professionals feel strongly about what they witnessed. They keep reaching out to me, urging me to get definitive answers,” she added.
Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71, leaving behind Brooke and her brother Nick from his first marriage to Linda Hogan.
Following a 911 call citing “cardiac arrest,” he was transported to a local hospital from Clearwater, Florida.
Records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center later indicated that he died of a heart attack, complicated by a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a type of cancer affecting white blood cells.
Brooke mentioned that she hadn’t spoken to her father in two years and noted the implications of his marriage to Skye Daly in 2023.
“I feel completely powerless. There’s nothing I can do. I can’t speak about my dad like I used to, as there are specific rules I was given,” she said.
Earlier this month, Daly mentioned that Hogan had not yet been cremated.
“I don’t really know anything about his cremation status. Maybe that will be addressed tomorrow, but I just don’t know,” she said. “My siblings mentioned there would be an autopsy, though I have no details on who would conduct it. I’m unsure if I can trust the autopsy findings, should they happen.”
Brooke reiterated that she had been contacted regarding access to the body cam footage and questioned why it hadn’t been considered by the medical examiner’s office.
She also mentioned that the 911 call is currently unavailable under the Freedom of Information Act, expressing her frustration over the lack of clarity.
“Given his medical history, which anyone can look up, do you have doubts about the validity of the causes listed on his death certificate? Think about it,” she wrote.
Brooke emphasized that her brother is diligently trying to find the answers they need, but also acknowledged that no matter the outcome, it wouldn’t bring their father back. “My hands are tied,” she lamented.
She urged against any further speculation, stating that she and her family were already facing enough challenges during this difficult time.
“I’m done discussing this ‘mystery,'” she concluded.
Brooke had previously mentioned that she requested to be removed from her father’s will and even offered to cover the costs for the autopsy. She chose not to attend his funeral, preferring to commemorate him privately with her husband, former NHL player Stephen Oleski, and their young twins.
