Katy Perry seems to be giving Justin Trudeau a glimpse of what he might be missing.
The pop icon showcased her toned abs in a bikini following her brief romance with the former Canadian prime minister, which reportedly has cooled off.
In photos shared, the 40-year-old Perry was spotted in a black two-piece swimsuit enjoying a sunny day at the beach with friends in Miami, Florida, on Thursday.
She appeared to be having a great time, splashing in the ocean and sipping from coconuts during a break from her busy “lifetime” tour.
One particular shot captured her being lifted out of the water by a male friend, which seemed to encapsulate the carefree vibe of the day.
This outing comes just days after news of her and Trudeau’s romance reportedly “faltered” following an intimate dinner they shared in Montreal.
According to sources, the pair’s communication has noticeably decreased over the past couple of weeks.
“She’s busy, he’s busy,” an insider told the outlet. “There’s a lot going on with them, and the initial excitement has faded.”
However, the source added, “It’s not a bad situation. They’re just not in constant touch. Things could change, but for now, that’s the reality. It can be a bit sobering.”
While the “fireworks” singer is no stranger to fame, it seems that politicians like Trudeau may not be as prepared for the media frenzy that can follow such high-profile dinners.
“I know Justin wasn’t thrilled about the photos being published,” the source revealed. “It was just their first date, and then it blew up into this huge ordeal.”
The source added, “Dating Katy means dealing with paparazzi and all that comes with it. I’m not sure Justin was fully ready for all of that. It can definitely be overwhelming.”
Trudeau, 53, was seen attending a stop on Canada’s “Lifetime” tour, which fueled additional speculation about their relationship before the rumors quieted down.
Another insider mentioned that politicians often aren’t equipped to handle the media spotlight that comes with dating someone famous.
Interestingly, while many were surprised by the connection between Perry and Trudeau, insider accounts speak of an “immediate chemistry” they felt when they met.
“They are definitely interested in each other, but time will tell where it goes,” the source elaborated. “Katy travels a lot, and Justin is no longer the prime minister, so he’s pondering his next steps.”

Since her breakup with Orlando Bloom, Perry has chosen to focus on herself. Recent reports indicate she remains friends with Trudeau while keeping her priorities in check.
Perry and Bloom announced their split in July but continue to co-parent their daughter, Daisy Dove.
Meanwhile, Trudeau separated from his estranged wife Sophie Gregoire in 2023, and they share three children: son Xavier (17), daughter Ella Grace (16), and Hadrien (11).
Sources suggest Perry isn’t actively looking to date anyone at the moment, wanting to concentrate on her healing process post-split from Bloom.
