UNC Makes Waves with Hulu Docuseries

This fall, UNC debuted on Hulu’s docuseries, clinching the first season under the guidance of Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Belichick. Jordon Hudson, it seems, was in high spirits, celebrating with an Instagram post over the weekend.

In the post, Hudson shared a photo of himself blowing a kiss, tagged with Hulu, Everwonder, and Disney+, but opted out of any captions.

The announcement of the docuseries was initially reported by Front Office Sports via a post on X, featuring a video of Belichick, where he mentioned the integration of a soccer program and plans for “in-season shows.”

Belichick noted, “It’ll showcase players dedicated to hard work. It’s about improvement and growth, reflecting the journey from the start of the season seven months ago, and ultimately, the outcome will be determined on the field.”

He further added, “This demonstrates our commitment to winning and prioritizing the team.”

While no specific details have been released about the series, there had been rumors circulating about a potential project involving UNC football. There was notable interest in the team after the hiring of Belichick, sparking curiosity around his personal life and his relationship with Hudson, who is 24.

Belichick started his new role in January at the age of 73. UNC is set to kick off its football season against TCU on September 1st in a nationwide broadcast on ESPN.

Interestingly enough, UNC was also considered for HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series, but the deal fell through for various reported reasons.

Reports suggest that NFL owners have mulled over concerns regarding the documentation of NFL films associated with the project. Additionally, there were noted creative hesitations involving Hudson’s participation.
