Police Charge 14-Year-Old in Knife Incident in Scotland

Authorities in Scotland have charged a 14-year-old girl after she was seen in a video brandishing a knife, as confirmed by police on Tuesday. The incident, which reportedly garnered around 40 million views online, involved the girl apparently confronting two immigrant men who were allegedly attempting to attack one of her friends. Despite the altercation, police noted that none of the men involved chose to file any complaints.

The police received a report regarding a young woman with a weapon in St. Unlane, Dundee, on August 23, 2025, around 7:40 PM. Officers responded promptly and charged the girl in relation to the event. She will be reported to the appropriate authorities afterward.

In the video, other girls can be heard telling the men not to touch their sister, yet the situation unfolded further with the filming continuing. As it stands, not all details about the incident are entirely clear at this moment.

Police Scotland stated they would refrain from releasing additional details until the related court proceedings are completed.

In recent years, the UK has seen a significant increase in the migrant population, now comprising about 16% of the total in some areas. This situation has sparked frustration among citizens and has been exacerbated by current government policies. The rise in immigration issues has contributed to the popularity of parties with stronger anti-immigration stances.

Notably, immigrants have been linked to a substantial number of sexual offenses in the UK, accounting for a reported quarter of such crimes. Controversies have arisen, particularly when the Labour Party blocked a survey aimed at examining the prevalence of grooming gangs, drawing international criticism and renewing focus on the ongoing migrant situation, including organized crime groups that involve primarily Pakistani nationals.
