Oklahoma Incident Involving 11-Year-Old Stepdaughter

An Oklahoma man has been accused of impregnating his 11-year-old stepdaughter, who gave birth on August 16. The individuals involved are 34-year-old Dustin Walker and 33-year-old Sherry Walker, the girl’s mother, as reported by Muscogee and NBC News.

Initially, both were arrested on a charge of child negligence after the girl gave birth at home. They claimed they hadn’t noticed her pregnancy and noted that she hadn’t seen a doctor for some time.

The situation took a serious turn when further investigation revealed the results of DNA tests. According to the Muskogee County District Attorney’s Office, the results indicated a 99.9% DNA match, confirming Dustin Walker as the father. He is accused of sexually abusing the girl between January 1 and August 16, leading to her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Sherry Walker has been charged with enabling the abuse.

Authorities are holding the couple in Muscogee County Jail, with bond set at $100,000 each. Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson commented on the trauma faced by the young victim, emphasizing that she gave birth without any medical assistance.

In a concerning twist, it was noted that the couple has also been charged with six additional counts of child negligence related to five other children under the age of 11. Reports indicate these children were found living in poor conditions.

Hutson described the case as one of the most severe she has ever encountered in terms of child abuse and neglect. A neighbor recounted calling authorities about the state of the household, mentioning the lack of running water and the presence of animals in unsanitary conditions.

Furthermore, the girl’s grandmother expressed her shock upon learning of the situation, stating she was unaware of her granddaughter’s pregnancy.
