Christine Cavallari Opens Up About Motherhood Challenges
Christine Cavallari, who juggles multiple roles but prioritizes motherhood, recently shared insights during a podcast episode. She talked about her three kids—Camden, 13; Jackson, 11; and Saylor, 9—and her experiences as a mom, including the struggles of having them co-sleep with her.
Reflecting on her son Jackson, Kavalari, 38, mentioned, “He’s quite a handful, to say the least. I love having him around, but it can be overwhelming sometimes.” She elaborated on how Jackson, who’s had an intense personality, was particularly difficult until he turned eight.
In an unexpected twist, her ex-husband Jay Cutler accused her of “borderline slander” regarding claims about her financial situation post-divorce.
During the podcast, Kavalari humorously described Jackson’s “fear of missing out,” noting he would only take short, 30-minute naps as a child, regardless of the environment. This made things challenging when it came time to transition him to his own bed.
The podcast also shed light on Jackson’s tendencies. “For about four years, he was in my room every single night,” she revealed. Now, Kavalari allows both Jackson and Saylor to sleep in her bed one night a week, which has its own set of complications.
“It’s tricky in the mornings,” she admitted, explaining how she needs to tiptoe quietly to get ready without waking them up. “I just want a bit of freedom to move around, you know?” It’s those little moments and adjustments that make parenting such a unique journey, full of ups and downs.
