Anne Hathaway Faces Mishap on Set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2”

Anne Hathaway found herself in an awkward situation while filming “The Devil Wears Prada 2” in New York City last month.

The 42-year-old actress was snapped falling flat as cameras rolled for the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 fashion film.

Hathaway was dressed fashionably in a beige patterned blouse tucked into a black pleated skirt. Completing her look were chic sunglasses and black strappy heels, which unfortunately let her down.

As she navigated down the stairs, the heels of her right shoe malfunctioned, leading to her unexpected tumble.

She landed on her bottom, left leg awkwardly beneath her, while her long, wavy hair fell across her face. It was quite the sight.

However, Hathaway took it all in stride, laughing off any embarrassment as she exclaimed, “I’m fine!” to onlookers.

Once she regained her footing, she performed what could only be described as a gymnast’s perfected landing.

It remains unclear if this fall was scripted.

Later on, Hathaway was seen smiling at a crew member, half embracing him, still wearing her malfunctioned footwear.

In another photo, she appeared to hobble along the sidewalk, holding onto another crew member’s arm for support.

Recently, Meryl Streep was also spotted on set, reaffirming her role as the formidable editor-in-chief of Runway Magazine, Miranda Priestly.

In the original film, Hathaway portrayed Andy Sachs, who underwent a complete transformation from a fish out of water to a fashionable assistant.

Emily Blunt, known for her role as Emily Charlton, was also seen on the bustling New York set.
