Christina Haack’s much-discussed third marriage has come to an end, and her ex-husband, Josh Hall, has openly shared his feelings about the situation.
After their divorce was finalized earlier this week, Hall posted a reflective message on Instagram about HGTV stars.
“I’m looking forward to spending a real Labor Day weekend,” he wrote, alongside a picture of himself in a cowboy hat, petting a confused horse.
He further expressed, “Finally, a legally divorced man, free.” Hall added that he has always worked hard and prefers to achieve things on his own. “The lessons learned. Don’t marry someone who needs a certain amount of public validation; use your personal drama as a cautionary tale.”
A California judge approved the divorce on August 26, bringing a close to their controversial relationship.
Court documents reveal that neither Haack nor Hall will receive spousal support.
Haack will keep their properties in Newport Beach and Tennessee, while Hall retains several vehicles, including a 2021 Bentley and a DeLorean.
Hall has since begun a relationship with model Stephanie Gabriz, while Haack is now dating businessman Christopher Larocca.
While both were involved in filming for the HGTV show “The Flip Off,” Hall only appeared in its initial segments. Haack had previously shared updates on their settlement talks, emphasizing her desire to “retire.”
In July, both filed for divorce, with Hall requesting support and also aiming to eliminate any right Haack might have to claim spousal support from him.
Haack has argued in court that Hall “should not need unnecessary support” since he has his own income.
The couple began their relationship in March 2021 and got married, albeit secretly, that October. They later held an official ceremony in Hawaii.
The two do not have children together, though Haack has three kids from her previous marriage.
