TCU Player Takes Shot at Belichick’s Girlfriend After Game

After the Tar Heels’ impressive 48-14 victory over TCU on Monday night, one player had a few words aimed at Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. It was an interesting moment, considering this was Belichick’s debut in college coaching, which, well, didn’t go as hoped.

Defensive Captain Bad Clark, who notably contributed to the win with a pick six, mentioned Hudson during a live locker room interview. He jokingly suggested, “Belichick has to make a call to his girlfriend… He’s sad,” which, you know, adds a little humor to the situation.

Hudson, 24, was seen on the Tar Heels’ sideline chatting with Belichick prior to the game. She was also in a suite at Kenan Stadium, accompanied by former Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss. It’s worth noting that other big names like Michael Jordan and Lawrence Taylor were in attendance, so Hudson and Moss weren’t the only ones spicing things up at Chapel Hill.

Alumni and famous faces, including legendary UNC coach Roy Williams, showed up to back Belichick during his initial game. However, Hudson and Belichick’s relationship has stirred a bit of controversy, especially with that “CBS Sunday Morning” interview that raised eyebrows.

When Hudson was asked about how she and Belichick met, she simply stated, “We’re not talking about it.” Emails obtained show some tension regarding Belichick’s romantic and professional life intertwining, especially when CBS seemed more focused on Hudson than on the broader context of the interview.

Belichick mentioned in an email that they first crossed paths on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021, and it’s no secret, really. Still, he felt that the interview overshadowed potential deeper discussions about their lives. Hudson has also been involved in helping to manage Belichick’s off-field business opportunities, which has turned their relationship into something of a punchline in sports circles.

However, UNC Football general manager Michael Lombardi was firm in stating that Belichick’s personal life isn’t a distraction for the team. “A lot of that is just noise,” he said in a June interview. He dismissed any talk of critiques as comical, suggesting that the team is focused on the game itself.

Belichick will have another chance to secure his first college win this Saturday against the Charlotte 49ers, and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
