Epstein's victims reveal important news on Capitol Hill: 'We know who they are'

Epstein Survivors Demand Transparency During Capitol Press Conference

A group of individuals labeling themselves as survivors of disgraced investor and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein held a press conference on Capitol Hill Wednesday, calling for greater transparency regarding their cases.

One of the survivors voiced support for the Democratic-backed Epstein Files Transparency Act, which urges the Attorney General to release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein maintained by the Justice Department.

Representative Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) introduced the bill alongside Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) as the victims made some startling revelations during the event.

According to Phillips, “This is done by survivors for survivors. No one else is involved.”

Lisa Phillips took to the podium to share her experiences of abuse at the hands of Epstein. “Transparency is justice. We need to release the files,” she stated in one segment.

Phillips recounted her claim that she was sex trafficked to Epstein while working as a model in the early 2000s. Yet, it was during the conference that she dropped a significant bombshell.

She revealed, “Some of us survivors are trying to compile a list of our own names. We have many names linked to our abuse. Together, we’re secretly noting down names from the Epstein world, and it’s all for the survivors. No one else is involved.”

In addition, Representative Thomas Massey (R-KY) has taken steps to force a vote on Khanna’s bill. To succeed, he needs 218 signatures from House members, most likely from the 212 Democrats.

According to reports, four Republicans, including Massey, Greene, Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), have signed the initiative.

This week, the White House criticized Massey’s push for the vote, labeling it a “very hostile act” against the administration.

Massey remarked that there may be certain powerful individuals being protected by President Trump.

Greene, alongside the Epstein survivors, emphasized that the quest for transparency in Congress is a crucial fight. “We’re fighting for innocent people,” she said, asserting that many victims have yet to see justice.

She reflected on how Epstein seemed to thrive among the elite, asserting, “He rubbed shoulders with the most powerful people in the world. This should never happen in America.” Greene urged that this issue shouldn’t divide Democrats and Republicans.
