Recently, sources reported that Howard Stern was seen at a Sirius XM event in the Hamptons. This appearance came just before his show was unexpectedly postponed due to a family emergency.
A witness noted that Stern was at a remarkable, intimate Metallica concert last Thursday at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, where he attended with his wife Beth and one of his daughters. It seems he had a great time, singing along throughout the night.
Alongside Stern, the concert attracted several notable figures, including Sylvester Stallone. There was a VIP vibe to the performance, featuring various stars such as Paul McCartney and Michael J. Fox, who mingled with attendees while enjoying cocktails and ice cream from a truck.
Interestingly, there was also chatter about comedian Heidi Gardner, who was reportedly spotted at the event. Gardner, known for her time on Saturday Night Live, has recently left the show after eight seasons.
The gig at the Hamptons was quite historical, and it will be airing this week on Metallica’s dedicated SiriusXM channel. Stern’s show is set to return on Monday, though his contract with the network is expected to conclude this year.
During the concert, Metallica covered classics like “Master of Puppets,” “Enter Sandman,” “Fade to Black,” and paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne by performing “Crazy Train.” It truly felt like a night to remember for everyone involved.
