50 Cent introduces '50 Ways to Catch a Killer' on Fox Nation

Rapper and actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is stepping into a new role as the host and producer of a true crime series titled “50 Ways to Catch a Killer.” This show, produced by his G-Unit Film & Television Company in collaboration with Lionsgate, will be exclusively available on Fox Nation.

The series aims to delve into intriguing murder mysteries, focusing on the efforts of law enforcement to uncover the truth. It’s set to premiere its first episode on September 16, with subsequent episodes released weekly. Elizabeth Banks joins the cast as Karen Reed, alongside Dennis Quaid and Patricia Arquette.

Jason Klarman, the Chief Digital and Marketing Director for Fox News Media, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that Jackson’s storytelling ability and cultural impact make him a valuable addition to the project. There’s a real promise in how the series will explore significant cases through Jackson’s lens.

In his own words, Jackson emphasized the emotional impact of true crime stories: “True crime is powerful because it’s the real case, the real people, the real justice.” He hopes to bring the struggles of investigators and the emotional weight of the stories to the audience, creating both engaging and authentic narratives.

The premiere episode, titled “Fake ‘Em Out,” tells the story of a Maryland teacher named Laura Wallen, who mysteriously vanished just before the school year began. The investigation unfolds amidst speculation about whether she went missing or was murdered.

Prior to this venture, Jackson was already well-known for his successful music career, with albums like “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’,” and for creating and starring in the popular series “Power.” He seems to be bringing the same passion and intention to this new true crime project, hoping to captivate viewers with real stories that reveal both criminal undertakings and the pursuit of justice.
