Texas Democrat Comments on Trump’s Health
During a recent appearance, Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett laughed and remarked about President Donald Trump’s hands looking like they might “fall off.” This comment came after White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt noted in July that Trump, despite being healthy, deals with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), which has raised concerns after photos of his swollen legs and injured hands circulated.
Crockett suggested that there should be a serious discussion about invoking the 25th Amendment, questioning Trump’s physical and mental capabilities. “I’m not sure what’s going on, but it seems like his hands could just fall off any moment. We should really consider whether he’s mentally fit to hold the office,” she said, expressing doubt about Trump’s mental acuity.
Amid growing speculation online, some liberals even joked about Trump’s well-being after he didn’t hold a press conference for several days. However, he later addressed the media at the White House, dispelling those rumors.
Additionally, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz stirred some controversy by implying there could be news regarding Trump’s death. At a Labor Day picnic, he mentioned, “You might wake up one day to some news,” hinting at health concerns without providing specifics.
On a related note, Chuck Todd discussed Trump’s health issues on his podcast, highlighting the complexity of reporting on politicians’ health. He indicated, “It’s difficult to get reliable information, but there are clear signs Trump might be facing health problems.” Todd raised questions about the lack of transparency regarding Trump’s health, pointing out visible concerns, including bruising and swelling.
