In a recent statement, a leader within Trump’s circle claimed the Biden administration has “weaponized” federal resources against Christians. They presented findings from a report detailing instances of anti-Christian bias and offered recommendations to safeguard religious beliefs in the U.S.
Fox News Digital has gained exclusive access to this report prepared by President Donald Trump and released by the Task Force aimed at combating anti-Christian discrimination, which is headed by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The task force’s main objective was to identify and rectify “illegal and inappropriate behavior” targeting Christians. They aimed to deliver an initial assessment that Fox News Digital was reportedly able to access only on Fridays. In this report, they outlined the “damages” stemming from a lack of protection for religious freedoms affecting all Americans.
The report asserts, “This task force is committed to ensuring the federal government will not again misuse its authority against people of faith.” It emphasizes that under Trump and Bondy’s leadership, the rule of law will be vigorously upheld, and all religious beliefs should receive equal treatment in policies and actions.
Beyond declaring an end to anti-Christian bias within the federal government, the report states that “faith should not be America’s burden; it is a matter of freedom.”
Following an initial review of federal agencies and departments, the task force identified numerous examples of anti-Christian bias occurring during Biden’s presidency.
White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Fox News Digital, “Joe Biden has leveraged the full weight of the federal government against Christians and undermined their First Amendment rights. Unlike him, President Trump has not penalized Christians.”
The task force discovered that various departments, including Defense, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Labor, were “mistakenly or improperly” denied requests for religious exemptions related to Covid-19 measures.
In terms of education, the report highlights that the Biden administration attempted to impose substantial fines on prominent Christian universities, such as Liberty University and Grand Canyon University.
Additionally, at the Department of Homeland Security, evidence showed that customs and border protection excluded Christian viewpoints from detainee protocols while prioritizing accommodations for Islam, Rastafarianism, and Judaism.
In Justice, the task force reported that the Biden administration failed to adequately address anti-Christian bias violations. Instead, they noted the DOJ pursued a new prosecutorial approach against those expressing or demonstrating faith-based views.
Moreover, the task force indicated that approximately 20 individuals were arrested by the DOJ while protesting for access to abortion clinics. However, it pointed out that the same department did not enforce legal protections for worship and pregnancy resource centers.
In a memo from the FBI, “radical traditionalist” Catholics were labeled as potential domestic terrorists, according to the task force.
The report noted that the Treasury Department had condemned numerous “pro-Christian groups.” Moreover, it found that the State Department offered less humanitarian assistance to Christians compared to other groups and was slow to respond to attacks against them.
Further findings revealed that Christian employees experienced discriminatory hiring practices favoring non-Christian religious individuals. There were particular worries regarding the observance of Christian holidays compared to their non-Christian counterparts.
Additionally, the State Department was criticized for imposing “radical LGBTQ gender ideology” on foreign governments, which contradicted the religious beliefs of many Christians and other religious individuals.
In Labor, the task force noted the dismantling of its office that focused on faith-based initiatives, replaced with a diversity, equity, and inclusion office.
The task force’s first meeting occurred in April after member reviews of their respective institutions aimed at uncovering anti-Christian policies and practices from the Biden administration.
While authorities indicated the investigation is ongoing, the full scope of anti-Christian bias within the federal government is yet to be thoroughly examined. The final report is anticipated by February 2026.
In February, Trump signed an executive order to create the White House Faith Office, which aims to bolster faith-based and community organizations providing vital services. This office operates under the National Policy Council while collaborating with faith community experts on relevant policy matters.
A response from former Biden White House officials was not immediately available when contacted by Fox News Digital.
