Baron Trump was supposed to kick off his second year at New York University’s Greenwich Village campus, but he didn’t show up during the first week of classes.
Several campus security officials confirmed this absence, stating that President Donald Trump’s son is currently attending a different NYU campus.
“From what I understand,” one security official mentioned, “he’s doing his semester at another location within NYU.”
However, the specifics of which campus he has moved to remain unclear due to security concerns. NYU has additional campuses in places like downtown Brooklyn, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai, along with learning centers located in Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
Attempts to reach the White House for comment went unanswered.
Last year, the 19-year-old moved into Trump Tower in Manhattan to pursue his studies.
Even though he’s not on the Greenwich Village campus, Baron still manages to stay in touch with classmates and keep up with what’s happening in class.
As noted in previous reports, he was seen communicating with friends on Xbox.
A source mentioned, “It’s his preferred way to communicate.” He’s also been connecting with classmates through Discord, which is popular among gamers.
Due to security protocols, the insider couldn’t share his phone number, but they arranged for him to chat on the gaming platform to keep his number confidential.
It was noted that Baron is only reaching out to friends he knows personally, ensuring he doesn’t share any information with unfamiliar individuals.
“It’s a community of gamers, and they trade gamer tags,” the source explained. “He knows people.”
