New information about Lisa Marie Presley's passing shared

New and sorrowful details about Lisa Marie Presley’s passing have come to light.

These insights emerged from a legal filing by one of Priscilla Presley’s former business associates in Los Angeles. Among the documents were two pages purportedly from Lisa Marie’s unreleased memoir, titled “Life After Elvis: I’m Soft to Leave You.”

The excerpt reveals that Priscilla rushed to her daughter’s side at San Fernando Valley Hospital after Lisa Marie faced complications from a small intestinal obstruction due to prior bariatric surgery.

As Priscilla awaited the arrival of her granddaughter, Riley Kee, an alarm signal of “Code Blue” echoed through the hospital, signaling that Lisa’s heart had stopped, as described in the document.

Priscilla recounts a critical moment, noting that while the medical team managed to restart Lisa’s heart, there was no assurance it would keep beating.

She reflects on a conversation with the doctor, who compassionately advised her on the grim reality of a potential life sustained by machines.

Priscilla expressed her heartache, reminiscing about Lisa Marie, whom she described as a vibrant spirit, now seemingly gone.

“I thought about my girl, my wild, rebellious and passionate girl,” she wrote.

Ultimately, she instructed the doctor to remove Lisa Marie from life support, recalling, “I couldn’t bear to see her like that.”

In a deeply emotional moment captured in her writing, Priscilla noted, “I started sobbing. Everything went dark afterwards. …I don’t want to remember.”

A representative for Priscilla did not respond to a request for comment.

This legal action was launched by former business advisers Bridget Cruze and Kevin Fiarco, who filed a $50 million lawsuit claiming fraud and breach of contract involving Priscilla’s financial decisions.

Priscilla’s legal team has dismissed these allegations, characterizing them as unfounded and absurd. They even made light of the accusations, saying, “Priscilla had nothing to do with the assassination of JFK…” among other fantastical claims.

As for the broader implications, Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54, following cardiac arrest. She had previously lost her son, Benjamin, to suicide in 2020 at 27.
