Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, despite their complicated history, came together to celebrate their daughter True’s school opening day.
In an Instagram post shared recently, the reality TV star marked the first day of her daughter’s second grade. In the last photo of the series, 34-year-old Tristan is seen cuddling with 7-year-old True, and Khloe is with her younger son, Tatum, who is 3.
True sported a school uniform featuring a navy top and a plaid skirt, along with white sneakers, while Tatum was dressed in a simple white T-shirt and black shorts. Tristan opted for a casual black and white tracksuit, going shoeless for the picture.
Khloe also included some Instagram Stories and further photos from True’s past school years, reflecting on how much she’s grown.
“Just like that, my baby is in second grade,” Khloe wrote in her post, adding that time seems to fly. She expressed a mix of pride and nostalgia, calling True respectful, sweet, loving, clever, and beautiful.
She continued, saying that it all happens so quickly, almost in the blink of an eye, and asked for divine protection over her daughter, hoping for her continuous joy.
Khloe concluded with a heartfelt note about her kids, expressing how their smiles and connections mean everything to her.
Fans quickly filled the comment section, praising the special moments Khloe creates for her children. “I love how you create special moments! You make such core memories for your children,” one wrote, while another described her as “a real blessing!”
Reflecting on their past, Khloe and Tristan’s relationship had its ups and downs, especially since they welcomed True in 2018. Rumors of infidelity surfaced, causing separations, but the couple found their way back to each other before another breakup in 2021. Tristan later faced accusations of fathering a child with Maralin Nichols during his relationship with Khloe.
In early 2022, Tristan publicly apologized for his actions, admitting the pain he caused Khloe. However, by July, the couple surprised many when it was revealed that they were expecting a second child via surrogate, welcoming Tatum in August 2022. Tristan is also a father to Prince Oliver from a previous relationship.
Despite their challenges, Khloe and Tristan have transitioned into a cordial co-parenting arrangement, focusing on their children. Khloe has also been supportive of Tristan’s family responsibilities, especially caring for his brother Amari.
“I choose to be there for him because it’s important,” she expressed in a podcast episode, highlighting that California’s climate is beneficial for Amari.
