White House Responds Strongly to Stephen King’s Claim that Trump Supporters Will Refuse to Vote for Him in 20 Years

In response to statements made by supporters of Donald Trump regarding future elections, the White House has condemned author Stephen King.

Recently, King expressed in an interview with the Sunday Times that he believes Trump’s supporters will, in the future, deny having voted for him, especially after what he predicts will be a significant victory in the 2024 election.

“I’ve heard many claims about historic moments,” King remarked. “Tens of thousands of people will insist they witnessed Bobby Thomson hit that home run.”

He added, “Conversely, I think many will claim, ‘I never voted for Trump’ in 20 or 30 years, as we age and reflect.”

The Trump administration responded to King’s remarks, suggesting he is out of touch with reality.

“Stephen has devoted so much of his life to fiction that I understand why he might miss what’s real,” stated White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson on Fox News.

During the same interview with the Sunday Times, King criticized the immigration policies of the Trump administration, comparing the deportation of undocumented immigrants to themes seen in dystopian literature, and likening U.S. law enforcement to the secret police of Nazi Germany.

“If I had written this back in 1965, it would have seemed far-fetched,” he said. “People wouldn’t have believed we would end up here, with agents resembling the Gestapo on the streets.”

“They label themselves ICE, but they operate like armed enforcers, equipped and masked, and they are omnipresent,” he noted.

Meanwhile, Trump, who has campaigned vigorously on strict immigration enforcement, won the 2024 election by a large margin, securing both the electoral college and the popular vote across various states.
