Israel Vows Stronger Action Against Terrorism
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged decisive actions against terrorism following the deaths of two terrorists. This recent incident resulted in the loss of six lives and left many others injured. “Eliminating these two terrorists isn’t enough,” he stated. “Tracking their supporters and aides won’t suffice either. My orders are to confront this nest of fear with strength.”
Netanyahu also noted, “We’ve already dismantled terror nests in refugee camps and evacuated civilians from those areas, destroying the terrorist infrastructure. I intend to replicate this in other locations as well.”
In response, UN spokesman Stephen Dujaric conveyed the condemnation of the attack by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and hoped for a speedy recovery for the injured.
Over the weekend, two terrorists in their twenties were involved in an attack in Jerusalem before they were fatally shot. This incident resulted in approximately six casualties and numerous injuries.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Israel’s battle against Hamas will persist. “A few days ago, we vowed to topple the Terror Tower in Gaza, and that’s precisely what we’re doing,” he said, pointing out that 50 such structures had been destroyed in the last two days by the Air Force.
Currently, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is conducting airstrikes in Gaza, targeting Hamas infrastructure. Netanyahu stated that this effort is merely a precursor, urging Gazans to evacuate. “And to the residents of Gaza, please listen closely: I’m warning you to leave,” he urged.
The IDF issued a significant evacuation order for Gaza residents, indicating a potential ground invasion is on the horizon.
In light of the attack, former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Hamas, urging them to release hostages in Gaza. “Everyone wants to see hostages freed and an end to this war,” he stated. “Israelis have agreed to my terms; now it’s Hamas’s turn. This is my final warning—no more chances!” Trump conveyed this message via his social media platform.
