Eric Stonestreet and Lindsay Schweitzer Tie the Knot

Eric Stonestreet, known for his role in “Modern Family,” has married his longtime partner, Lindsay Schweitzer. The couple exchanged vows at their home in Kansas City, Missouri, marking a significant day in their lives.

Stonestreet shared a lighthearted remark about their wedding day on social media, saying, “It’s my birthday and I’ll guess what I got,” alongside a series of cherished moments from the event. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, his co-star from “Modern Family,” expressed happiness on social media, stating, “Of all my second marriages, this is my favorite! I love you both! I am so happy for you!!!”

Earlier this year, Stonestreet discussed their plans to marry in a home they were constructing, noting, “Well, we’ve said we’re building a house to host a wedding, but we’re still on track to do that.” He added how they wanted to symbolize their relationship by literally building a foundation together.

The couple’s journey began in 2016 when they met during a charity event. After five years of dating, Stonestreet proposed to Schweitzer in 2021. He reflected on their relationship, saying, “We were together for a long time and knew we weren’t going to find a better partner in life than Lindsay.” He humorously mentioned, “Lindsay asked, ‘What are you waiting for?’ So it was time.”

Stonestreet became widely recognized for his portrayal of Cameron Tucker in “Modern Family,” which aired for 11 seasons from 2009 to 2020. Despite traveling back and forth, he was dedicated to his acting career while maintaining their long-distance relationship. After the show concluded, he returned to Kansas City.

In recent interviews, Stonestreet reflected on his experiences in Hollywood, contrasting them with life in the Midwest. He noted that while Hollywood has its charms, there’s something uniquely special about real moments with people in Kansas City.
