Nick Pascal Found Guilty of Attempted Murder

Nick Pascal, known for his role in “How I Met Your Mother,” has been convicted of attempted murder. The 36-year-old actor was found guilty on Friday for the stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Aly Shehorn, which occurred on May 23, 2024. Court records indicate that the jury in San Fernando, California, also convicted him of first-degree residential burglary while inflicting bodily injury on a partner.

Pascal is now awaiting sentencing, with a hearing set for Tuesday, June 2nd.

Prior to this trial, Pascal was arrested for domestic violence on May 18, 2024. He was released a week later after posting $50,000 bail. Shehorn’s friend, Jed Dornoff, mentioned that shortly after Shehorn posted bail, Pascal pursued her aggressively.

During the trial, Shehorn testified with visible injuries, including wounds on her neck and arms. She recounted the harrowing night when Pascal attacked her, stating, “I locked the door and he started punching holes in it.” She instinctively ran to the bathroom, fearing for her life.

Days before the assault, Seehorn had taken steps to protect herself by filing a restraining order against Pascal. Despite this, he managed to gain entry to her home in Sunland, California, and, according to reports, stabbed her around 20 times.

After the attack, Pascal fled and was later captured at the U.S.-Mexico border in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Shehorn was found bleeding heavily by a friend who rushed to help her. She sustained serious injuries to her throat, back, chest, and wrists and required 14 hours of surgery, after which she spent several days in intensive care.
