Kamala Acknowledges ‘Months of Rising Anxiety’ at the White House About Biden’s Deterioration

Kamala Harris Reflects on Biden’s Re-election Bid

In a recent revelation, Kamala Harris, the former vice president, seems to acknowledge, albeit in a roundabout way, that she was aware of Joe Biden’s questionable run for re-election. She expresses some hesitation about stepping into the “recklessness” of it all.

Harris claims that Biden was “fine,” but it’s clear that her statements are a bit tangled, almost like a word salad.

Excerpts from her upcoming memoir, titled 107 Days, bring these thoughts to light. In it, she finally articulates a sentiment she’s held back: “During the months of heightened anxiety, I should have suggested to Joe that he reconsider running. Maybe he thought he had a chance of doing it all again.”

She goes on to acknowledge that those who didn’t intervene to prevent Biden from seeking another term — herself included — have acted “recklessly.”

“It was Joe and Jill’s choice,” we repeated, almost like a mantra. But was that really a wise decision? Looking back now, I think it was reckless. The stakes were just too high. This shouldn’t be a matter of personal ego or individual ambitions; it called for a bigger conversation.”

However, her comments about Biden being okay feel inconsistent, as her thoughts seem jumbled once again.

Skeptics want to cover up Biden’s struggles with theories of an elaborate White House conspiracy. But wait — you just mentioned “months of rising panic,” which sounds like a sign of a conspiracy at play. From my experience, I can say Joe Biden is certainly intelligent, experienced, and capable of fulfilling his presidential role. On his best days, he showed depth and compassion, especially compared to Donald Trump. Still, at 81, age was evident, with physical and verbal missteps becoming more frequent. An awkward debate moment right after two trips to Europe and a Hollywood fundraiser wasn’t entirely surprising. If I had thought that was incompetence, I would have said so. I’m loyal to President Biden, but I’m also loyal to my country.

It’s interesting to note how she writes, “I don’t think it’s incompetent,” yet continues to label the situation as “reckless.” It raises the question: why criticize the lack of intervention when she holds that view?

Her narrative feels a bit chaotic; some of her points seem to contradict each other. It’s hard to imagine how one could organize these thoughts coherently.

She admits to a lengthy period of concern regarding Biden’s obvious decline. A few months, to be exact — and that’s significant.

Those months of alarm within the White House indicate real worries about Biden’s capacity for leadership. After all, there was only a short time between a debate and Biden stepping back from the presidential race.

This prolonged worry didn’t do much to conceal the reality of the situation. The crux is simple: if Biden was unfit to run, he wouldn’t have reached the presidency in the first place.

It took Harris at least six months to work on her book. Is this truly the best she could come up with? It raises eyebrows.

Throughout her memoir, she primarily expresses grievances regarding how Biden and the administration weakened her own campaign efforts.

It’s worth considering; perhaps she was in a tough spot regardless of the circumstances. Did Biden really exert such influence over her to mislead about her own role?

With a hefty campaign budget of $1.5 billion at her disposal, she had an advantage, yet still, things fell apart. It’s somewhat ironic.
