Fox News Channel reveals updated weekend schedule

Fox News Weekend Programming Update

Fox News Channel is set to launch a new weekend lineup starting Saturday, September 20th, as announced by Jay Wallace, the president and editor-in-chief of Fox News Media. This restructured schedule aims to enhance viewer engagement and provide more comprehensive coverage.

Kayleigh McEnany, co-host of “Outnumbered,” will kick off her own program, “Adation in America,” at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Meanwhile, Griff Jenkins will join “Fox & Friends Weekend,” taking on the role of the third co-host alongside Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hart.

On Sunday, September 21st, “The Sunday Briefing” will debut. Senior White House correspondents Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich will serve as solo anchors at 11 a.m. Additionally, Johnny Joey Jones and Tomi Lahren are among the new co-hosts for “The Big Weekend Show,” which is expanding to three hours on both Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m.

Wallace expressed enthusiasm about the new programming, noting that it reflects Fox News Media’s commitment to delivering in-depth news coverage and strengthening its position as a leader in both news and opinion.

Howie Kurtz will transition from his role as host of “Mediabuzz” to become a political media analyst, and the final episode of “MediaBuzz” is set for Sunday, September 14th, after over a decade of leading the cable news competition in its timeslot.

Kurtz’s insight has been invaluable, and Wallace acknowledged his contributions, highlighting that he will continue to be a key figure across Fox News platforms.

Meanwhile, Kayleigh McEnany’s “American Saturday” promises to feature discussions with various newsmakers, exploring significant topics across the political spectrum. She will also retain her co-hosting role on “Outnumbered” during the weekdays.

The Sunday Briefing is designed to cover all aspects of the White House Beat, focusing on both domestic and international affairs surrounding President Trump’s administration. Doocy and Heinrich have been covering the White House since 2021, providing in-depth reporting on both the Biden and Trump presidencies.
