Oprah was thrilled to be part of Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2026 show and even hinted at making some choices for her wardrobe.
“I adore the three outfits, and I’m going to see if I can snag them,” she shared with Alexa after the presentation at Madison Avenue on Wednesday evening. “Really looking forward to spring!”
The fashion enthusiast was seated front row, enjoying the event with her close friend Gale King. Other notable attendees included Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, Usher, Jessica Chastain, Ariana DeVos, and Mindy Kaling, who interacted happily with the crowd.
This stylish gathering kicked off New York Fashion Week, which officially starts on Thursday.
Ralph Lauren has undoubtedly cultivated a dedicated fanbase among A-listers.
“Ralph is timeless, and I believe I’ll always cherish his work,” Oprah reflected during an interview for O’s All-American Designer in a finale episode of her show. “He always inspired me. I used to pore over magazines, dreaming of his cable-knit sweaters and thinking I might one day afford them. I have kept every valuable piece of Ralph Lauren I’ve bought,” she reminisced. “I’ve still got some suede pants from 1992 and my very first polo shirt.”
Now it seems she’s set to add even more cherished items to her collection.
The show itself showcased modern suits with relaxed fits. There were oversized blazers paired with bras or bands, sleek pants with a touch of shine, and classic pinstriped trousers with tailored jackets or belted vests. The color scheme leaned on white, black, and red, with sculptural silver accessories offering a stylish contrast.
As for the evening wear, flowing dresses with dramatic backs and elegantly tied strapless gowns were all the rage.
Ralph certainly brought a bold palette of red, black, and white to the scene.
The models strutted down the runway for the grand finale, showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary influences on menswear.
“What word could capture this?” Gale asked after Ralph had taken a bow. “Timeless. No matter what comes next. [Ralph], I think I could wear it, and I did! It’s remarkable, especially after all this time, he really hit it out of the park.”
