“It's Absolutely Terrible”: Joe Rogan and Charlie Sheen Share Their Thoughts on the Attack on Charlie Kirk

Tragic Shooting of Charlie Kirk Discussed on Joe Rogan’s Podcast

On Thursday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” podcast host Joe Rogan and actor Charlie Sheen reacted to the shocking news of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA).

Kirk was fatally shot by a gunman at Utah Valley University (UVU) during an event on Wednesday. Sheen expressed his disbelief, calling the situation unfair. Rogan felt the need to address the incident immediately, stating, “We know that Charlie Kirk was shot.”

Sheen, after a moment of reflection, remarked, “That’s terrible.” Rogan then inquired if Kirk had died, as there seemed to be conflicting information in the studio. His producer was not certain, which added to the tension of the moment.

Both men paused, clearly taken aback by the news. “Oh, oh!” Rogan exclaimed.

“He was murdered for having a different opinion,” Sheen noted, referring to the ideological differences that may have motivated the attack. Rogan’s producer eventually confirmed that Kirk had indeed passed away.

Sheen expressed his sorrow, saying, “Please rest in peace,” and added, “No one deserves this.”

Law enforcement is currently searching for the shooter after arresting and then releasing two individuals connected to the case. The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office has also released surveillance images of persons of interest related to the assassination.

Ammunition from a rifle was located in a nearby wooded area, containing messages that appeared to be pro-transgender and anti-fascist in nature, according to reports. One gunshot interrupted Kirk while he was addressing a crowd of students, just moments before the tragic events unfolded.
