FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for tips that could help catch Kirk's killer.

Shooting Incident in Orem, Utah

On September 11, 2025, the FBI announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist. Kirk was shot during a Turning Point USA event held at Utah Valley University on September 10.

The incident reportedly involved a gunman who fired from a rooftop approximately 200 yards away. Kirk was struck in the neck and, sadly, passed away hours later. Authorities have released two images of individuals they are interested in, urging the public to assist with their investigation.

One image shows a person in a long-sleeved black shirt adorned with an American flag and what appears to be an eagle, paired with blue jeans, sunglasses, and a gray-black hat.

“We have good video footage of this individual,” stated a representative from the Utah Department of Public Safety. “If we do not identify them soon, we will reach out to the media to help disseminate those images.”

While the suspect remains at large, authorities have retrieved a powerful bolt-action rifle from a nearby wooded area. Kirk’s passing leaves behind his wife, Erika, and their two young children.

The FBI continues to seek public assistance, encouraging anyone with information to reach out.
