Tributes Emerge After Charlie Kirk’s Tragic Death

Demi Tebow, the former Miss Universe and ex-wife of Tim Tebow, has spoken out following the shocking assassination of Charlie Kirk. In a recent interview, she shared her thoughts with Fox News Digital about Kirk’s legacy and the impact he had.

Tebow remarked on the significance of Kirk’s commitment to his beliefs, regardless of differing opinions. “One thing was certain: whether you agreed with Charlie’s opinion or stance on a particular topic,” she noted.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was tragically shot and killed on Wednesday at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. His influence reached many young students, encouraging them to engage not only in politics but also to lead lives grounded in faith.

“I think it’s really honorable. I mean, standing firmly for his faith at just 31 is something that can push the younger generation to do the same,” Tebow added. “When you see someone willing to stand up for their beliefs, that’s a powerful legacy to leave behind.”

Charlie Kirk had married former Miss Arizona, Erica Franzbe, in May 2021, and they had two children—a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. Expressing her sorrow, Tebow mentioned that there aren’t really words to comfort anyone during such a time.

“Tim and I have been praying for Erica and their kids since we heard the news. It’s unimaginably hard for them as a family,” she said.

Reflecting on Kirk’s role, Tebow stated, “To the public, Charlie might be seen as just a person, but to his family, he was their entire world—father, husband, best friend.”

She encouraged others to lean on faith, referencing 1 Corinthians 13:12, which speaks to the idea of seeing only a reflection now, but knowing fully later. “For now, we may only see dimly, but in the future, we’ll understand completely,” Tebow expressed.

Others, like Jimmy Graham, CEO of Eable Shepherd, expressed their outrage at the senseless act of violence. “My daughter, who recently started a TPUSA branch at her school, is devastated. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time,” he said. His sentiments echoed those of many as the community mourned the loss of such a vibrant leader.

Jack Graham, a pastor, offered his perspective, stating, “Charlie Kirk is now with the Lord. His message and true witness live on, inspiring a generation to boldly declare hope and life.”
