Gruesome Incident in Dallas Motel
A 37-year-old illegal Cuban national is currently in the Dallas County Jail following allegations of murdering a man in a motel. Security footage reportedly shows him carrying a severed head across the parking lot and discarding it in a trash bin. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has stated that Cuban citizens with extensive violent criminal backgrounds were released into Texas by the Biden administration on January 13th.
“It’s a tragic and senseless act of violence. If this individual hadn’t been allowed to remain in the U.S., perhaps this wouldn’t have happened,” an ICE spokesperson commented in a statement.
On September 10, ICE officials aided the Dallas Police in detaining Jordanis Cobos Martinez, who is accused of decapitating a man in front of the victim’s spouse and child. Reports suggest that Cobos Martinez was kicking the victim’s head like a soccer ball after the act. He has a lengthy criminal record, including charges related to car theft, sexual offenses, kidnapping, and robbery. He had been held at the Bluebonnet Detention Center until his release on January 13th.
According to Dallas police, there was an altercation between Cobos Martinez and 50-year-old Chandra Mooli Nagamariah at the motel. The incident escalated after Cobos became angry when Nagamariah instructed his colleagues to translate instead of speaking directly to him. Following this, Cobos allegedly retrieved a machete and attacked Nagamariah.
Nagamariah tried to escape to the office as Cobos continued his assault. Both the victim’s wife and child attempted to intervene, but he persisted until he accomplished the horrific act.
Witnesses say Cobos kicked the head twice before throwing it into the trash can, then walking away while police arrived to apprehend him.
The scene was chaotic, with emergency responders arriving shortly after the incident. An onlooker recorded a video, showing Cobos Martinez dragging the severed head and leaving a trail of blood behind.
When ambulances arrived, Cobos reportedly placed the head in the trash can and walked away calmly, even as bystanders pointed him out to paramedics. He was ultimately taken into custody, his shirt stained with blood from the victim.
