He completed 19 of his 30 attempts, racking up 295 yards, though he did throw one interception. The Longhorns’ defense also had a solid performance, forcing four turnovers during the game.
Like Texas, UTEP is entering its third week with a 1-1 record. They dropped their season opener against Utah State and then enjoyed a 42-17 win over UT Martin.
