Andrew Santino Doubts Wedding Invite from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Comedian Andrew Santino, a friend of NFL player Travis Kelce, isn’t counting on receiving an invitation to Kelce’s wedding with Taylor Swift.

“I doubt that,” Santino remarked during a podcast episode when asked if he would attend. “Forgive me for taking it. I mean, I’m really suspicious of that, dude.”

He continued, “I know she controls that guest list. I’m not on that list… hey, Trav is my boy. I’ll love him until I die.”

During the podcast, the 41-year-old actor and comedian indicated that Kelce, who plays as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, hinted at his engagement before officially proposing in August.

“He and I spoke the last time we saw each other, and he said he wanted to do it when we played golf together back in April or May. But then he didn’t say it,” he shared, leaving some details a bit vague.

While Santino’s friends don’t expect to be on the wedding guest list, many of Kelce’s childhood friends are likely to be included in the celebration, despite previous reports suggesting otherwise.

As for the future wedding, Santino mentioned how Kelce, who has a deep connection to Ohio, remains loyal to his roots, suggesting that those friendships from his youth hold a significant place in his life.

“I’m just an adult friend. Adult friends are different,” he noted, adding that he’s not exactly part of the core circle that Taylor Swift may be familiar with.

The NFL star publicly announced his engagement to the pop superstar on August 26 via social media, a moment that generated a lot of buzz.

Amidst all the excitement, Santino humorously pointed out that even if invited, he feels he might not fit in as seamlessly with Swift’s group, envisioning her thinking, “Oh, there’s no guy.” It’s a light-hearted reflection on their differing social circles.
