Mike Wolfe and Girlfriend Recovering from Car Accident

Mike Wolfe, known for his role in “American Pickers,” is recuperating from a car accident that occurred on Friday in Columbia, Tennessee, alongside his girlfriend, Leticia Klein. Wolfe, who is 61, shared details about the incident on Instagram, mentioning that they were both involved in the crash.

He posted a photo of his vintage blue car, which was significantly damaged in the accident. Klein also recounted her experience on social media, noting that her jaw hit the window when the car went off the road.

“By God’s grace, we are safe and alright,” Wolfe expressed to his followers. He mentioned that both are receiving good medical care, with Klein hospitalized but expected to make a full recovery.

Wolfe conveyed gratitude for the support they’ve received during this challenging time, thanking everyone for respecting their privacy and for all the prayers sent their way. He added that despite the rough night, there was now “a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Klein shared more about her injuries late Saturday, posting a photo of herself in the hospital, wearing a neck brace. She described injuries that included a broken jaw and rib, as well as damage to her sternum and lung. “My mouth is closed, but I still have my brain,” she remarked.

Earlier this year, Wolfe had also made headlines when he decided to close his antique store in Nashville, citing a desire to change his life’s pace. With 15 years behind him, he reflected on the community that the store had built and the stories shared within its walls. He noted that it wasn’t a farewell but rather a new chapter and rhythm for him as he considers his future in Iowa, where he wants to return to a slower lifestyle.

This decision follows the loss of his long-time friend and co-star, Frank Fritz, who passed away last September. Wolfe frequently reflects on the impact Fritz had on his life and work, stating that he thinks of him often on set.
