In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination, his organization and widow assert that his legacy will continue to thrive—indications from social media suggest they might be right. Kirk’s follower count across his associated accounts has surged, bringing more attention to the ideas he championed than ever before. For instance, his Instagram, which had been around 7 million followers just before his death, spiked to over 12 million.
Erika Kirk’s Instagram also saw considerable growth, jumping from under 500,000 followers to more than 5 million in the days following the incident. On Saturday, after the announcement of her husband’s death, she gained about 1.5 million followers. The same surge occurred again after she undertook her first official duties since his passing.

And it’s not just Instagram where growth is evident. The Charlie Kirk Show on TikTok gained 2 million followers, reaching a total of 9.3 million and accumulating tens of millions of likes post-assassination. Similarly, his YouTube subscribers rose significantly, and his Facebook page also received millions of new likes, according to analysis data.
Not only was Kirk an influential figure and commentator, but he also founded Turning Point USA, an organization aimed at educating and mobilizing students around principles like financial responsibility and limited government.
Turning Point USA’s accounts have also experienced rapid growth. Their YouTube channel acquired hundreds of thousands of new subscribers, and views surpassed 100 million shortly following the tragic event. Their Facebook page has seen a jump of nearly 3 million followers, while Instagram gained around 1.7 million.
Turning Point Action, initiated by Kirk in 2019, focuses on mobilizing conservative bases and providing voter resources to help elect true conservative leaders. Its Instagram has gained approximately 200,000 followers, and the Facebook page also added over 40,000.
Furthermore, the organization TPUSA Faith aims to empower Americans with tools to expose untruths and highlight the connection between faith and freedom. This account has also grown, adding over 100,000 followers.
The Turning Point USA website insists that Kirk’s mission lives on, stating that “the vision is more vibrant than ever.” They honor his legacy by asserting their commitment to not only maintain what he built but to intensify efforts and leverage the grassroots movement he cultivated.
