The second week of the 2025 NFL season has wrapped up, with the Los Angeles Chargers set to face the Las Vegas Raiders at 10 p.m. in the second part of tonight’s Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Chargers enter as 3.5-point favorites, with the total set at 46.5 points. The winner will take sole possession of first place in the AFC West.
We’ll explore some top DFS picks for this Monday Night matchup.
Genosmith, QB, Raiders ($7,300)
The 34-year-old quarterback had a promising start with the Raiders last week, going 24-for-34 with 362 yards, one touchdown, and a victory of 20-13 over the Patriots. He was one of just three quarterbacks to surpass 300 yards, posting the second-highest average with 10.6 yards per attempt. For DFS, Smith offers significant upside, especially in Chip Kelly’s offensive scheme. I’m definitely considering him for my lineup tonight.
Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers ($6,500)
In his opening game against the Chargers, Allen caught seven passes for 68 yards and scored a touchdown in a 27-21 win over the Chiefs. Even with Quentin Johnston scoring twice in that game, Allen garnered a team-high 10 targets. His established connection with Justin Herbert makes him a valuable asset for DFS.
Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers ($6,400)
While Hampton’s debut wasn’t particularly flashy, he still had a decent workload: 15 carries for 48 yards, along with some receptions. He spent most of the game on the field, as veteran Najee Harris only had 12 snaps. This could bode well for the rookie’s future, and perhaps we might see him score his first career touchdown tonight.
Michael Mayer, TE, Raiders ($5,600)
Mayer, the second-year tight end, had a knee injury that limited his participation in the previous game, raising some concerns for tonight’s match. If he does end up playing, he could see increased opportunities in light of a potential absence of his teammate Blockbowers. In the recent win against New England, Mayer recorded four targets and 38 yards, so he could build on that performance if needed.
Tre Tucker, WR, Raiders ($5,400)
In week one, Tucker capitalized on his limited targets, making two catches for 54 yards and scoring the only passing touchdown of the game. With Amari Cooper’s retirement prior to the season, Tucker now has a chance to step into the role of WR2 for Vegas. He and Jacobi Myers could form a solid receiving duo, making him a worthwhile option for DFS.
Tyler Conklin, TE, Chargers ($4,700)
Conklin may have had some struggles last week, with only two catches for 50 yards, but he still managed to contribute to the team’s win. In a crowded receiving court, finding touches could be challenging, but he shows potential as a red zone threat—he scored three times while with the Jets last season, after all.
