FaithFest Draws Thousands in North Carolina
This past weekend, over 1,000 individuals made a profession of faith at a Christian Music Festival in North Carolina. The event featured a compelling gospel message that encouraged attendees to turn their hearts toward Christ.
This year marked the ninth iteration of FaithFest, which attracted tens of thousands to hear performances from various artists, including Zach Williams and Phil Wickham, among others. It has become one of the largest Christian music festivals in the country, organized by the Church of Craig.
According to reports from Raleigh, the two-day festival held in Wilkesboro drew about 50,000 participants.
Baptism was also a part of the event, and one of the sponsors was Samaritan’s Wallet.
Craig Church, who founded FaithFest, described this year’s gathering as “incredible.” He was quoted saying, “It’s packed.”
Laurie, a senior pastor from California’s Harvest Christian Fellowship, urged festival-goers to embrace Christ before it’s too late. He addressed the audience on both nights of the festival, emphasizing the importance of developing a relationship with God.
“You need to humble yourself and acknowledge your need for God,” Laurie conveyed, resonating with the crowd of thousands.
He further elaborated on what salvation entails: “He will save you from your sins and future judgment. It’s not meant for people but for the devil and his angels. That’s why Christ died on the cross—for us, so we don’t have to face eternal separation from God.”
In a social media post, Laurie expressed, “At least 1,000 people have made a commitment to follow Christ. It’s tricky to count exactly, but many stood in place to express their faith, and we were able to provide them with Bibles—over 1,000 were handed out!”
FaithFest’s social media team remarked, “The army is rising. It is bold. We declare that Jesus is Lord. Who’s with us?”
Other artists featured at FaithFest included Jason Club, Caleb, and Charity Gale, to name a few. The event successfully fostered a sense of community among attendees, all sharing a common goal of spiritual connection and celebration.
