Country artist Gavin Adcock fears that Charlie Kirk's passing has ‘awakened’ millions.

Country musician Gavin Adcock expressed that those who believed Charlie Kirk’s death would silence him only succeeded in awakening countless others. “Everyone there, the people filled with hate, thought they could still Charlie Kirk, but they’ve only stirred up millions who aren’t afraid to die,” Adcock shared during an appearance on Ingraham’s Angle.

He emphasized that for those who live in faith and trust in Jesus, fear of leaving this world should not exist. Adcock reflected on the legacy of Kirk, who actively flew the American flag, while concertgoers chanted his name throughout the weekend.

The singer noted that the tragic news of Kirk’s assassination weighed heavily on him as he prepared for his scheduled performance, but honoring Kirk brought him strength.

“I think my fanbase overlaps in some ways with Charlie’s audience,” he explained. “It was uplifting to pay tribute all weekend long, not just during the first show. Fans were shouting ‘Charlie Kirk’ every night.”

Kirk had been killed last week during a speech at a university in Orem, Utah, where he praised the nation and prompted discussions on political freedom and speech.

Although he had never met Kirk personally, Adcock stated he was familiar with the activist through various videos circulating on social media. “Every day, he was out there promoting what it means to be a good, moral person. He had this ability to speak up, and as someone who often expresses my thoughts in music, I can appreciate that,” he remarked.

Despite acknowledging the challenges he might face for being outspoken in the industry, Adcock remains unconcerned. “I’m just living my life, playing music, and striving to be a good person,” he said.

“If someone targets you, others will amplify their voices. I take pride in being an American and holding my beliefs close,” he added, mentioning a biblical passage he shared during a weekend show in memory of Kirk while marking the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

“You who love the Lord, hate evil. He protects the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the clutches of the wicked.”
