Investigation in Los Angeles After Dismembered Teen Found
Authorities raided a residence in Los Angeles after discovering the dismembered body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez in the trunk of a Tesla. This search took place at a Hollywood Hills mansion where a 20-year-old known as D4VD, or David Anthony Burke, resides.
The mansion, tied to the singer of “Romantic Murder,” was searched after police obtained a warrant. This investigation has raised questions about the connection between the pop star and the deceased teen.
According to reports, D4VD was already a figure of interest in this tragic case, especially given that Rivas Hernandez had gone missing previously in 2024. A screenshot from an online chat back then hinted at rumors of a romantic link between her and D4VD.
Interestingly, the artist had also created an unreleased track that references a “Celeste.” In one line, he sings about a girl with the name tattooed on her chest, mentioning her in a way that, after the identification of Rivas as the victim, sparked increased scrutiny online.
Photos have emerged showing D4VD alongside a girl resembling Rivas, who was featured on missing person posters distributed after her disappearance.
Adding to the unsettling details, D4VD bears a tattoo that reads “shhh…” on his right index finger, which has caught the attention of many. Rivas’ mother has mentioned that her daughter was seeing someone named David before she vanished.
After two years, the discovery of Rivas’ body wrapped in plastic in D4VD’s Tesla has shocked many. Since embarking on a tour starting August 15, D4VD has been cooperating with authorities, as stated in a recent interview. However, he did cancel a concert in Seattle, pausing his tour amid this controversy.
As of now, police have not named D4VD or anyone else as a suspect in the case.
