Tyreek Hill Faces NFL Investigation Amid Off-Field Issues
During a recent broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, conversations turned towards Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and ongoing investigations related to his off-field behavior. With just under eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter—Buffalo led the game 28-21—broadcaster Kayley Hartun highlighted the NFL’s inquiry into domestic violence allegations against Hill.
“The NFL is currently looking into accusations of domestic violence involving Tyreek Hill,” Hartun reported.
In a court filing made earlier this month concerning his divorce, Hill’s ex-wife alleged that he had been violent towards her on eight separate occasions since January 2024. Hill has denied these allegations, although he had previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges from an incident that occurred in Oklahoma in 2015.
Hill tied the knot with Kita Vaccaro in November 2023, but she filed for divorce just a year and a half later. They have children together and are navigating joint custody arrangements amidst the divorce process.
This unfolding situation sparked criticism from fans, especially regarding the timing of the announcements related to Hill’s off-field issues.
In a recent game, Hill stated that he was concentrating on “playing the ball” following the news of the NFL’s investigation. Broadcaster Al Michaels remarked, “Thanks, Kayley. He’s had his share of off-field challenges.”
Hill’s performance on the field has been noteworthy despite the controversies; he caught five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown during the Dolphins’ recent 31-21 loss. This season, Hill has recorded 15 catches totaling 198 yards, scoring touchdowns in three games.
After three losses, the Dolphins are still seeking their first win as they prepare to face the New York Jets in week four.
