Cardi B Discusses Childbirth Experiences
Cardi B candidly shared that she experienced considerable tearing during the birth of her second child, Wave, attributing it to his size. She mentioned, “My second baby, he’s too big – he broke me,” during a recent appearance on “The Breakfast Club.”
In her own words, “The first one, I had to stitch. Yeah, I tore it apart.” She didn’t hold back, clearly discussing the challenges she faced.
According to the Mayo Clinic, while many women experience mild tears during childbirth due to the baby’s size, it can also lead to more significant injuries.
When asked about her experiences by co-host Jesshilarious, Cardi described the childbirth process as “hard.” However, she also noted how she’s learned a lot since then, expressing optimism for the future.
“But that’s what I’m saying. Things are a little different now and I’m more experienced,” she continued. “The third one was so easy, so I hope this will be easier in the name of the Lord too.” She reflected on how her knowledge gained from previous experiences has brought her comfort.
Cardi, who recently confirmed her fourth pregnancy, expressed excitement for the new addition to her family. “I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she told Gayle King during a segment on “CBS Mornings.”
She emphasized that keeping her pregnancy under wraps was her choice. “Did you feel like you could say that on your own time? I’m not hiding,” she explained.
The rapper already has three children: her son Wave, one-year-old Blossom, and seven-year-old Kulture, all of whom she shares with her former husband, Offset. Cardi experienced her ups and downs with Offset throughout their relationship, which lasted from 2017 to 2024, culminating in a brief reconciliation following the birth of their first two kids.
