Dr. Ben Carson Celebrates Revival After Charlie Kirk’s Tragic Passing
Dr. Ben Carson expressed his joy over the wave of Christian and patriotic fervor that has emerged following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. During a memorial service on Sunday, Carson praised the work started by Kirk and Turning Point USA. He projected that, despite Kirk’s untimely death, his legacy and leadership will continue through his widow, Erica Kirk.
“It’s heartwarming to see young people and older generations coming together, united by the principles that have propelled our nation to remarkable heights,” Carson remarked. He stressed that these principles, including the belief that our rights are granted by a higher power rather than the government, are fundamental to the country’s history.
Carson has been vocal about his influence on American youth, condemning Marxist ideologies attempting to dominate government and cultural spaces. He contended that the radical left has infiltrated education, media, and Hollywood, transforming American culture in ways that normalizes certain behaviors.
He criticized churches that have deviated from biblical teachings in favor of secular perspectives. “I urge ministers to share biblical truths rather than succumbing to leftist narratives,” he said, underscoring the importance of participating in the ongoing revival. Carson believes that this movement is unstoppable and will be observable in various gatherings.
Combining elements of freedom and faith, Carson posited that true liberty requires courage in standing up for one’s beliefs. “If we are not brave at home, we cannot foster a land of freedom,” he emphasized.
Carson concluded by referencing a poignant moment, noting that Charlie Kirk was shot at 12:24 PM, which aligns with the biblical quote from John 12:24 that he had just cited. He expressed gratitude for Kirk’s sacrifice, indicating that it would lead to fruitful outcomes in the future.
