Erika Kirk's strong message of forgiveness to Charlie's supposed killer

Emotional Tribute at Charlie Kirk’s Memorial

Erica, Charlie Kirk’s wife, delivered a deeply emotional speech at his memorial in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday.

The event, named “Legacy of the Building: Remembering Charlie Kirk,” attracted over 100,000 attendees at State Farm Stadium. It included tributes from notable figures like President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. Yet, Erica’s heartfelt message resonated the most, earning her several standing ovations.

“When you say, ‘I’m here, I’m LORD, with me,’ God takes you into it. And he did,” she stated.

Erica, clearly moved, approached the microphone, wiping her tears before beginning. Looking up, she expressed, “I love you,” addressing her late husband.

She described her admiration for Charlie’s drive, determination, and unwavering work ethic. He had a passion for speaking and always dedicated himself to God.

“God accepted his complete surrender,” she said, adding a poignant note in her address to her husband’s alleged assassin that sent shivers through the audience.

Erica highlighted her husband’s enthusiasm for helping young men in the West who felt lost. Then, with incredible poise, she uttered three powerful words: “I will forgive him.”

The audience responded with applause, rising to acknowledge her brave stance. She further asserted, “The answer to hatred is not hatred.”

After the tragic event, Erica noted there was no outbreak of violence, but rather a revival, aligning with what her husband had envisioned.

Many of her comments seemed directed toward both American men and women, as she emphasized that she wanted their relationship to be a partnership, urging couples to embrace the same approach.

“The house is here for you and it’s ready,” she told her husband, noting, “I created the space he wished to be in.”

While Erica expressed her ability to forgive, she also shared her profound sense of loss. “I miss him so much; our marriage and family were something beautiful,” she reflected, as many in the crowd were moved to tears.
