In 2009, Glenn Beck faced a threatening encounter from billionaire George Soros’ associate. The associate claimed, “My boss is hurting my boss, and that’s over.” When Joel Cheatwood disagreed, stating he knew Soros wouldn’t stop, the associate ominously replied, “When you stop, let your boss know the ship is about to sail.” This unsettling conversation hinted at larger implications.
Fast forward to today, and signs of those ominous predictions are emerging. Earlier this month, the French government saw former Prime Minister François Beyloux lose a critical vote of confidence regarding an austerity budget intended to address the nation’s growing debt and rising interest rates.
Mainstream media often attributes France’s financial issues to years of deficit spending and COVID relief efforts, but the reality appears more complex. Critics argue that the French welfare system was intentionally overwhelmed, and the surge of immigrants played a key role in this collapse.
Jason Buttrill, head researcher at Glenn’s team, draws parallels to New York City’s issues in the ’70s, citing the Cloward-Piven strategy. According to Glenn, the current crisis in France ties back to the nation’s open borders policy, leading to increased turmoil.
Soros’ previous comments about a ship ready to set sail resonate as France is forced to cut social welfare programs, raising concerns over civil unrest among discontented groups. Glenn questions, “If benefits disappear, how will people react? Will they resort to violence?”
Interestingly, Glenn suggests that America remains oblivious to its own impending issues, comparing it to France’s predicament. He states, “We’re all on the brink of collapse and not even realizing it.” The issues faced by France, including youth arrests for minor offenses, reflect broader societal tensions that also exist in the U.S.
“If action isn’t taken soon, America could face a similar downfall,” Glenn warns, implying that the Western world is on a path to darkness.
Glenn argues that socialism’s influence could blind America to its strengths. He offers a stark prediction, stating, “We have the talents, resources, and capabilities, but if we let darkness overpower them, the consequences could be dire.”
