Tom Holland, the star of 'Spider-Man', hospitalized due to an injury on set.

Tom Holland recently experienced a mild concussion while filming “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” due to a stunt mishap. Filming came to a halt on Friday as Holland was taken to a hospital. Fortunately, he was treated and released without being admitted.

Sources indicate that Holland will be taking a precautionary break but is expected to be back on set in a few days. It doesn’t seem like his injuries are severe. Over the weekend, he attended a charity event alongside his co-stars and fiancée Zendaya, although he left early since he wasn’t feeling too well.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first incident involving injuries on set recently. Earlier this year, Charlize Theron revealed she sustained injuries while performing stunts for her latest action project, “Apex,” without using protective gear. She described her experience as painful, but still felt exhilarated by the unique challenges of the shoot.

In another dramatic instance, Tom Cruise almost injured himself while filming a sequence for “Mission: Impossible – Final Calculation.” He shared that during one scene, he leaped from one plane to another, which led to quite a bit of pain. The director recounted how the extensive physical demands of the stunts affected Cruise significantly.

Despite the physical toll, both actors seem to embrace the thrill of their work, even if it means facing the occasional injury.
