Tom Brady Ventures into Robotic Massage Technology

Now, it seems Tom Brady has his sights set on something a bit different—a venture into robotic massage technology.

Brady, alongside his business partner Alex Spiro, is getting involved with Escape, which claims to be the world’s first company dedicated to robotic massage technology.

Reports characterize this deal as a merger; Brady will take on the role of Chief Innovation Officer, contributing his insights on longevity and recovery techniques, while Spiro will serve as a strategic advisor in return for fairness within the company.

The collaboration is already in motion, with plans to promote the technology even in locker rooms during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, in addition to its current base at Equinox Gym.

According to Spiro, “This represents the most significant democratization of massage—there’s really no one else doing this.” The escape massage itself is performed entirely by a robotic arm, which eliminates the need for human intervention. Prices start at $60 for a 30-minute session, which is said to provide similar benefits to an hour-long massage from a person, as the robot’s mechanisms can apply pressure that humans simply can’t achieve.

Aescape’s founder and CEO, Eric Litman, stated, “The sensor creates 3D models that customize your massage experience. Each time you visit, it remembers you and your preferences.” Brady views this as a perfect extension of his holistic health practices, especially considering his early mentoring from Alex Guerrero, whom he considers the best in body coaching. “Our work together helped me play for 23 seasons in the NFL,” he noted.

Details about the financial arrangement remain undisclosed.

Brady is known as a forward-thinking innovator and a key figure in many high-profile legal matters, representing clients such as Jay-Z and Elon Musk. He anticipates that prices for these robotic sessions could eventually drop from $60 to under $30 within the coming decade.

This initiative arrives at a time when there’s an increasing cultural fixation on longevity and wellness, although it’s interesting to observe that massage therapy isn’t always a focal point in many wellness regimes.

Litman added, “We’re integrating Tom’s longevity-focused protocols into the Aescape system, enhancing them with robotics and artificial intelligence.” Officially launched last year, this technology now boasts over 100 locations and has facilitated upwards of 25,000 massages.

Last year, it was reported that Escape promised “the most advanced massage in the world,” which is high praise, especially for someone like Brady, who has his own back issues.

During the massage, users can comfortably make adjustments using a touchscreen positioned under their head—quite a unique feature, according to Litman.
