Dylan Walsh appears distressed in bodycam video following a car accident.

Dylan Walsh seemed noticeably shaken while speaking to officers after crashing into two utility poles with his family in the car last month.

The “Nip/Tuck” actor, who is 61, appeared disoriented at the scene of the accident in Lamson, New Jersey, which occurred on August 17th.

Body camera footage reveals his wife, Leslie, lying on the ground as she receives treatment for her injuries while an eyewitness nearby reacts to the chaos.

As Leslie discusses her injuries, which are located on her chest, a distant voice can be heard crying out in distress.

Later on, an officer instructs Walsh to exit his vehicle as he answers questions about the incident.

Walsh, recognized for his role as Dr. Shawn McNamara in the FX series, shares that he’d spent the day enjoying the sun at the beach.

He admits to drinking earlier but claims he wasn’t aware that his SUV had collided with a utility pole while responding to the police inquiries.

“Did you lose consciousness while driving? Have you fallen asleep? Are you on any medication?” one officer questioned. Walsh responded, expressing that he was “really tired.”

He stated, “I was driving, and that happened. I don’t know how it occurred.”

Upon inspecting Walsh’s vehicle, officers discovered a cooler bag filled with alcoholic beverages.

As paramedics arrived, one officer informed the “Superman & Lois” star that he would be required to provide a blood sample at the hospital, warning that a warrant could be sought if he refused.

A representative for Walsh was contacted for comments.

Previously, Walsh’s team suggested that he had suffered a stroke prior to the crash and asserted that his blood alcohol content was below legal limits. However, police did not confirm those details.

Reports indicate that Walsh’s SUV was traveling north when it veered into the opposing lane, striking one utility pole before hitting another.

In the vehicle with Walsh were his wife, their 12-year-old son Hudson, 13-year-old daughter Amelie, and another passenger.

Following the incident, Walsh received citations for several infractions, including reckless driving, open containers of alcohol, expired registration, and other lane maintenance violations.

Authorities confirmed that two of the five individuals in the car were transported to Riverview Medical Center, but Walsh’s team later announced that everyone involved was recovering well.

“Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident at Lamson over the weekend,” his rep stated. “Thankfully, everyone is safe and has been back home since then.”

The family expressed gratitude for the quick response from local authorities and emergency services, also thanking the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care.

Recently, Walsh experienced the loss of his “Nip/Tuck” co-star Julian McMahon, who passed away from cancer at the age of 56.

In a heartfelt tribute a few days later, Walsh remarked, “Dear Jules, I know you like to disregard boundaries, but this time you went too far.”

The two actors starred together for six seasons in the popular series, with McMahon portraying Dr. Christian Troy alongside Walsh’s Dr. Sean McNamara.
